COVID-19:  THE BIG REBUILD OF PLANET EARTH

Oh, my gosh.  Remember the year 2020?  Many thought that one more time the world was going to end!  What were your thoughts?  Did you, like me, think, oh it’s just paranoia.  Doesn’t everybody know that none of us humans are going to live forever?  What’s the big deal?

The big deal was that nobody really knew how this virus was going to wreak havoc with our entire world, and indeed it did and continues to this day.  Many systems broke down.  Jobs were lost, families suffered to due lack of income, unemployment was at an all time high.  Life was a struggle for everyone.  This illness which literally shutdown the globe, was wiping out humans quickly and with a vengeance.

Many of us in the Spiritual Communities received information that this shutdown was actually necessary and many wonderful new systems would be created through this epidemic.  I figured, that we managed through many other times in history that threatened to wipe us out, so we’ll survive this one too.

Well here it is August of 2022, and guess what?  Yep, we’re still dealing with COVID-19 on this planet!  So, what has actually changed?  We heard in 2020 that we were having a global financial reset of our money system.  We also heard and saw that the healthcare crisis was having to turn people away and that we needed to have a reset of how we care for our sick and elderly.

Over that last few years we have begun to see our systems changing.  Here is what my detective work has discovered.

We have known for a very long time how archaic the education is.  Through this pandemic, we are finally taking new innovative approaches to our learning environments.  In person learning was replaced with computer screens and virtual teaching.  Although this was a difficult transition  for both teachers and students, many parents and children who found it difficult in the classroom, have much more success in the virtual setting.

The way we do our jobs is also very different in 2022.  Many more in the workforce are choosing to have virtual jobs that they can do at home without exposing themselves to this ongoing virus “that still continues across our globe.  Although many businesses suffered in 2020 and 2021, this year we are seeing  rise in online work which many find much more enjoyable and satisfying.

These changes are the beginning of the many systems that will continue to change.  It is out of necessity that as a human collective, we embrace change as the only constant in the world.  Through embracing change, we get to be in the ongoing adventure of living and when frustrated by the everchanging Coronavirus, we can ask ourselves, “How do I want to make a difference?”
